What is Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)?
AEO is the practice of getting your brand recommended inside the answers AI assistants give — the same way SEO is about ranking in search results.
More and more people start their product research by asking an AI assistant instead of typing into a search box. “What's the best screen mirroring software?” “Which CRM should a small team use?” The assistant replies with a short, confident list of recommended brands — and most people act on that list without ever visiting a search engine.
